Hs findings: 3100: trace 4000: 15cm 5030: 55cm 5760: 100cm Hs improved quickly above 4700’ with deeper pockets in isolated wind drifts. Hn up to 15cm at our high point of 5800’. Ski supportable crust below this new snow that provided favorable coverage for such low Hs and good turns. Winds from the east transporting snow at surface and over ridges. Looked much more impacted higher up helping us turn around sooner to ensure some good skiing. No signs of instability or cracking but was a quick transition from hiking the trail into consequential avalanche terrain above Hannegan Pass.
