Quick report
We went into May Creek with already established goals of staying off of north/northeast slopes above 30 degrees. We felt comfortable riding south facing slopes on Sunday and Monday that hovered around 32 degrees. We woke up Tuesday with the intention of riding more south and west facing slopes only to find that the snowpack did not freeze overnight so we stayed off of all slopes due to deteriorating skiing conditions.
Avalanche
There were multiple natural slides likely during or directly after our last snow event. All were on north/northeast slopes. One propagated almost 1 mile long and stepped into much lower angle terrain. We noticed one new slide that likely failed with our rapid warming on Monday night. This was on an east facing slope.
