With significantly less new snow than what was forecasted, I saw no evidence of storm or wind slab on my tour.

The storm underperformed what was forecasted for today, at least while I was in the field. Snow was consistent, but generally light, and total accumulation was only 1-2 inches by mid-afternoon. Winds were also generally light, with a few moderate gusts at the ridge, with direction ranging from SW-W-NW. I did see some wind transport, but with limited amounts of new snow, I did not see any wind slabs developing.
Snowpack
I found a wide range in snow coverage where I travelled. I witnessed several steep, south-facing slopes with little to no snow coverage. Between 5100'-5600' I mostly found between 1.5-3 feet of snow. Only 1-2 inches of new snow fell while I was in the field, and below that I found a well-consolidated, right-side-up snowpack that was heavily saturated from recent precipitation (so saturated that I found 2-3 inches of water puddled on the ground at the bottom of the snowpack).
