Some really obvious massive wind slabs formed throughout Hoffer Basin, but not reactive to my weight. A weak interface at ~6-10cm depth that seemed to be most prominent on E aspect slopes. This interface was cracking and failing under my weight in places, but is currently shallow enough to not be particularly threatening until more snow is added. I dug a pit at ~8000 in upper hoffer basin and the entire snowpack seems to be bonded together solidly after the recent warm/cold cycle, with the exception of a sizeable layer of facets remaining on the ground. From what I saw today, seems like the pack is generally pretty stable, unless one finds an isolated pocket, or rips the whole thing to the ground...

I observed evidence of one shallow natural avalanche on steep rocky terrain on the NE shoulder of Lookout Peak.
