Quick report
Today was my first day in the Incline Lake Peak zone for the year so I had no previous information on how the coverage was prior to the day. We toured up off the established skin track to look for any signs of instability. The snow was very dense as you would expect after this wet storm so ski penetration was pretty minimal while breaking trail. We did not find any collapsing, cracking, or other observational signs of instability. We did dig a pit at 9250' and got an ECT20P result that broke on the facets 35cm off the ground. Total snow depth was 97cm. The facets were wet and stuck together when making a snowball. On the way down, we skied the NE aspect trees with good ski conditions. Dense snow covered up the rocks and logs well enough to ride over them with out hitting them as indicated by all the tracks over mini pillow lines.
