Quick report
We travelled on N-SE aspects from 6100’ to 8700’. Because we saw no signs of instability when we travelled through a similar zone yesterday (Tuesday) and generally found good riding conditions on all aspects, we planned to cautiously step out onto steeper terrain after observing conditions in the morning. We did not find any reactive windslabs in hand shears or on convex rolls near ridge lines. We did observe several very small dry loose slides on cliffy N terrain from new snow within the last day or so. Weather was sunny in the early morning, changing to clouds/light snow from around 10am-2pm with around an inch of new snow. Winds were light out of the E. It felt like a low danger day and we felt comfortable travelling in steeper terrain.
