CT results in the most recent storm snow should be monitored to see if they persist or if continued settling homogenizes this layer, and if so, if this becomes a slab. Will be worth checking in on the snowpack in the Bogus area as the winter progresses to monitor any changes in the weak layers and concerning interfaces.

Height of snow ranges from approximately 70-85 cm Results from one of several assessments: 83-81 cm: PP, F 81-49 cm: DF, F 49-46 cm: MFcr, 1F 46-39 cm: MF, F- 39-36 cm: MFcr, P 36-28 cm: FCxr: 4F 28-13 cm: MF, F 13-0 cm (ground): MFcr, 1F CT 13 SP down 23 cm, CT 13 SP down 27 cm, ECTN 14 down 23 These results are in the most recent storm snow presumably at the interface between the first wave of heavier snow that settled and the lighter snow deposited on top. Several other tests nearby showed similar results. CT18 SP down 44 cm, ECTN28 down 44 These results are at the interface between melt forms and melt freeze crust below.
