Quick report
I avoided all avalanche terrain today. I suspect that where the facets are preserved on the ground or near the ground and there has been recent windloading you could find trouble. I forecasted persistent slabs and wind slabs today, but due to the nature of the terrain I was in I did not observe either. I was pleasantly surprised with the lack of wind redistributed snow. No obvious signs of instability. Limited visibility made it difficult to see, but what I could see there were no recent avalanches.

In and out of clouds all day. Snow turned on around 1230 with a rate of S1-2, there was a lull around 13:30 and it turned back on at 14:30 and continued until I exited the field around 1500. Winds varied from calm to moderate out of the S/SE. Periods of consistent S/SE winds were redistributing snow (partially filling in existing skin tracks). Temps were below freezing but not by much - all precip fell as snow.
Snowpack
HS ranged from 105-150cm. HN24 20-25cm. Hasty hand pit on SW showed a well graded slab above ~10cm of moist facets that were on the ground. Most recent layer of storm snow showed signs of bonding and was not cohesive enough to pull off in a block.
