Quick report
We saw no signs of instability aside from some small cornice fall from recent wind and snow. The surface of the snow was quite warm and glopping to our skis everywhere we traveled by late afternoon even on shady aspects.

Warm day with winds out of the north and northwest.
Snowpack
There was 5 to 10cm of consolidated snow resting on top of a temperature crust on all the sunnier aspects. Before noon, the snow was glooping to our skins. Even on shady aspects like east and northeast, the snow was glooping to our skis while skiing down at 2 pm.
We dug on a NE aspect mid-slope in a sheltered tree-burned area at 8600'. HS 167cm, the 2/16 buried surface hoar is 35cm down, and the 2/8 drought layer of well-developed facets is 43cm down. ECTN16 and ECTN21 on the 2/16 layer. PST 90/100 End on 2/16 and PST 40/100 End on 2/8 layer.
