Quick report
Unsupportable surface crust (2-3 cm thick) pretty much throughout. Skinning up the valley was surprisingly easy despite the low snow. Overcast with a few flurries in the morning followed by the clouds thinning out later morning. Heard some snow/rock shedding off Bryant Peak, but it was too foggy/cloudy at the time to see what was happening. Above ~4500' the crust got softer and started to be covered by new snow from yesterday/last night (up to ~3 inches at Pineapple Pass), which made for pretty good skiing.
