Widespread instability from 7000ft and above. Natural avalanches observed on east through north facing terrain. Dug multiple quick hand pits. Melt freeze layer on the ground with facets above topped with 16 to 20 inches of new snow that fell upside down. Widespread cracking and collapsing observed through out the whole day on all elevations. Some cracks propagated up wards of 100ft. Traveled very conservatively mostly using forest roads to get around. Stability is poor.
