Had a very reactive day in the Joffre Region. First, while approaching Slalok at the top of the moraine above the lake, we remotely triggered a small wind slab then witnessed a natural release from high on the mountain. The central couloir to gain the Stonecrop glacier had slid during the last storm cycle and run at least 300m. Later, while skiing a line down from Taylor's ridgeline the last member of our party triggered a small slide, about 3m wide, that ran approximately 30m. Very strong winds wreaked havoc all day, creating some interesting features.
