Quick report

Figured I would look at some slide paths that hit roads with a 1-2 year return period. The dusting of snow helps to enhance viewing of ground features and surface roughness. This gives a good perspective of starting zones for future reference.

Weather

Cloud Cover
scattered

Day warmed up but snow on north aspects at 7,300 stayed dry. Roads were slushy/muddy in the afternoon.

Snowpack

Thin, fall conditions. South aspects are bare. and only 2-4" on north aspects at 7,300'. See photo of Warm Lake Summit. Based on distal viewing at Stibnite, one would have to be above 8,000' to get into areas of contiguous snow cover.
