Cold weather and mostly clear skies have allowed the snow on N aspects to facet.
Snowpack
Variable based on aspect. Southern aspects even at 9k ft were bare in many places. Northern aspects held very soft, faceted cold snow that skied well. Aspects that were more affected by Solar held a strong supportable crust. We observed some wind scouring and wind affect. Getting into a zone with good skiing was challenging, but still possible today.
