After a group veto due to observed wind slab breaking and prior wind loading in N facing aspects, we decided to exit NE. We cut across the north facing aspect to a more mellow pitch. Other friends had eyes on us and gave me the green light to drop. 3 turns in, the NE aspect released above me at the ridge line (see photo). Propagation was approximately 50’ wide and 1’ in depth. The wind slab ripped over 100 yards down. I was swept by the slide and carried, but not buried or harmed.
