New snow is still F hard but stiffening, mid and lower snowpack below 1/6 very weak (F, 4F-). Trail Breaking is arduous on many aspects and skis sink into faceted snow below the new snow. Ski penetration 40-50cm. Widespread collapsing under skis on all aspects skied. Cracking observed on terrain with greater wind effect or near convexities.
