Quick report
First romp on skis for the season. Quick tour found nice supportable turns. Snow was around 50cm deep, did not hit any rocks or stumps. About 5cm of facets at the base of the SNPX, followed by a nice gradient of 4F snow softening to F at the surface. Surprised that we did not feel or hear any collapsing during the tour. We were skiing on a NW aspect @8,300'.
