Weather

Skies clearing over the morning, with bands of couds being a little stubborn to leave. There was a lot of wind transport going on around the pass in the late morning/noon timeframe. Drifts forming on roads, lots of snow getting knocked out of trees, etc.

Snowpack

No on-snow travel during this portion of the day. Wind effect from Thursday's storm is evident in many locations, from mountaintops to valley bottoms. Most of this drifting seemed to occur concurrently and shortly following the snowfall, with loading occurring primarily from a W/NW direction.

Observed recent avalanche activity is matching the pattern of a solar margin crust+facet combo on the 2/1 interface. This makes sense, this interface did not look good prior to and after burial.
