Watersprite Lake

Observations estimated from a party that reported: Picture didn’t come out all that well but you can see a bit of the crown on the right where it propagated big. It’s a 1’ crown on the left of the pic (start zone) and a 4’-6’ crown on the right. Ran down past the guy standing in the pic on the bottom right. This bowl is located is the first valley on the left (north) after you walk across the lake (east). We were all ok thanks to terrain management and going one at a time (avy 1 training)... but we did not expect that slope to go that day, and especially not that big or run that far. Especially considering the relative stability we observed the prior day and the forecast of to moderate to considerable at and above treeline.
