We ascended the mellower slopes on the north face of Lichtenberg, topping out at 4700’. We saw evidence of wind-transported snow even relatively sheltered terrain from 4600’ and up, and a fresh snow depth of about 7” but didn’t see any signs of instability (cracks etc), including on steeper test features.
