Ski cut and triggered an avalanche in skookum chute. Ski cut without loading the face to much, whole face released slid through the chute and debris nearly made it to the cat track much larger than anticipated. Wind slab crown was roughly 4” to 1’ deep (about 8” at the point it was triggered) ~60’ wide failed on new snow interface.
