Quick report
Ski track from an early morning rider produced roller balls and pin wheels in step terrain. Hand pits revealed right side up storm snow well bonded to old snow interface. Observed periods of graupel in morning. HS 280cm at 5100' on west end of skyline lake where we dug a snow pit. HST about 10". CTH SP down 50. ECTP30 down 50cm. Failure plane looked like it was 1mm facets. Strong wind gusts of coming from west and North throughout day.
