Snowmobiling in montezuma (Webster pass) noticed new snow sitting on top of hard slab (wind?). below that noticed a HUGE layer of large facets. Poor bonding throughout area. Snow pits were dug on N, S and E slopes between 11500-12500.. Noticed some cracking. and Q1 shears...
