Small natural storm slab release that produced a large avalanche based on terrain characteristics in common travel corridor. Crown looked to be ~10” (with 3” of day’s new snow on it) but pulled out ~3’ of last week’s storm snow in confined gulley. This provided large volumes of snow to pull out deeper pockets in path with some trench walls and debris piles 6’ tall.
