Quick report

We did the tour (you know which one) on Tues 4/29 and shared the route with one party. Cool temps hovered around freezing--wind and cloud cover in the am until about 11-1130 preserved S facing slopes. Blue lake cornice intact and beginning to sag. Cold/dry/preserved snow on NNW aspects above 7400' ish ft. Cornices above couloir directly SE of Pika are chunky and sagging but hanging in there. Glide crack below Pika at 7000' NE aspect opening up.

Avalanche

Many large recent wet slides on SW aspects between 6000-6500', none of which we observed.
