Quick report

Could drive to within 1/4 mile of the trailhead. A few hundred feet of bushwhacking up Grouse Creek led to consistent snow. Quality corn snow all the way down in the afternoon, getting progressively mushier as we descended. Many glide cracks in the zone, although none of them appear to be very fresh. No signs of instability on our tour

Clouds rolled in on the summit around 2pm as forecast. Lower elevations stayed below the clouds when we left the field at 430pm. Light winds came and went throughout the day. Higher elevations appeared quite windy based on how fast the clouds were moving.
