Quick report
- It was sunnier than expected. By the time we exited around 4pm, it was starting to look a bit more stormy. - Steep north aspects held soft settled powder up high and hot pow lower down. - We found a mix of corn and mashed potatoes on south-facing aspects.
Avalanche
We crossed extensive fresh debris from several wet avalanches D1-1.5 in size around 1pm as we traversed under the NE face of Roosevelt. These slides appeared to have occurred today (probably the same ones witnessed by the folks in the earlier Holy Diver obs from today).
