- Isolated cracking on the steep slope immediately below the false summit of Jim Hill (NW aspect @ 6600ft). This slope and the gulley below held old, stiff windslabs with less consolidated snow below. - The snow turned into mashed potatoes by 2pm around 5500 ft - All signs of loose wet activity were from yesterday; we didn't see any active shedding

- The most noteworthy avalanche we saw was a D2.5 wet slide that appears to have occurred late yesterday afternoon. - There was a crown from a widely-breaking slab avalanche up high immediately below the cornice on top of peak 5705 - There were many large old debris piles from the AR event coming off peak 5705 with smaller, more recent debris piles on top (likely from yesterday)
