Quick report
Springlike conditions in the earlier parts of the day at lower elevations. Snow was mostly frozen solid at lower elevations (<6000 ft), but at ~6500 feet and above there was a fresh layer of dry powder ranging from 2 to 9 inches that made for some excellent skiing. Snow felt very “right side up.” No signs of instability, and no recent avalanches. Some very small rollerballs were noticed with warming in the afternoon, and some small amounts of snow being wind-transported was seen near ridge lines.
