Quick report
- Cracking
- specific
Snow was shallower and denser/wetter on the approach up the commonwealth, transitioning to deep, dry and unconsolidated snow higher up. Hand pits produced inconsistent results, sometimes a cohesive chunk would pop cleanly off of the crust, other times the snow was completely unconsolidated and/or well bonded to the crust. At around 5100ft we started seeing cracking and got some snow to move in the upper ~6in of snow.
