Mixed conditions, some very heavy gloppy snow on the up track facing Tonic bowl (S/SE facing), wind affected snow at the top, then some excellent snow coming down the East flank. Abundant micro terrain with wind lips showed signs of recent slides from small cornice drops. Sun affected slopes across the valley had all released wet loose by the time we were coming back down. We did see a couple size 2 slides on steep East slopes near ridgetops, appeared to be cornice triggered from warming.
