Wind affect in the alpine but powder to be had at treeline and below.

Light valley wind but calm in the alpine

The snowpack felt well settled and supportive. At ridgetop it was wind affected with pockets of windslab. There was no whumpfing nor signs of recent (48hr) avalanche activity. The cold snow temps made for poor glide. Limited SH growth so far.
