Spent the day trying to access skiing on the south side of the St. Mary’s River Road. Creek crossings were open and running up to 1550m, which produced a shorter day for us as one of our party experienced the mother of all soakers while trying to cross and ended up having to pour creek water out of their boots. Road beds were producing multiple large whumpfs and +10m shooting cracks. We had very high winds and fresh snow, though minimal snow appeared to be accumulating on the ground.
