Skied Crater mainline, and conditions were exceptional inside the line!
A few big chunks of avoidable debris scattered mid-line from an older cornice failure, but 5-15cm of supportive powder throughout the main shot and not too slabby up top where the cornice terminates. Crust is shallower at the bottom of the line, but enough freshies sitting on it to carve a turn.
Checked out the climbers left ramp and promptly turned around after remote triggering a small cornice feature from ~30ft away while approaching one of the convex humps at 1800m. No slab or cracks/propagation from the trigger, just a good chunk of cornice from the buildup of the last two days sitting on crust+facets. 15cm deep hand shear nearby broke very easily.
