Walking the dog

Took the dog up to Chester Lake. Snow mostly crusty in the trees but relatively soft and dry with about 5cm fist snow over old surfaces in the meadow around 2200m. Mild temps around -2 for the afternoon. Saw one size 2 cornice triggered wind slab off Little Chester, unsure of age, see picture. Can recommend a dog ski partner for getting yourself across the flats on the way down!
