Northern San Juan

At 11:45 AM, an avalanche released above the skier at the top of Deep and Dangerous while they were moving through the slope. Upon reaching the apron, the skier triggered a secondary avalanche, which sympathetically released a slide on Safe and Sound. The skier was partially buried but sustained no injuries. The slope had been skied earlier that day by two parties. Aspects ranged from northeast to northwest.
