Summit Creek

Spent the day in the summit creek area. Summitted Flattop via the SE ridge. Conditions in the Summit Creek area were variable with 15 cms of wind distributed soft snow in some areas and hard windslab in other areas. SE ridge of Flattop was either faceted snow or had a 10 cm hard slab on top of facets. Already noted by another MIN post but there was a size 1 skier triggered near the Summit Lake on an convex, loaded east aspect. Heard a few whumpfs near the lake but not anywhere else.
