Grizzly Shoulder

Dug a snow pit in open meadow near skin track and encountered about 95 cm of fist trending to 4F snow overlying crust. Performed CT and ECT with no results despite continuing ECT beyond 30 taps at about 30 cm below surface. Was able to pry entire ECT block of snow with shovel after test and broke on crust about 100 cm down. Despite favorable test results we stuck with our plan to ski grizzly shoulder. Found very nice snow when able to get away from previous skier tracks
