Quick Observation

Skied in the Teddy Bear trees, with 20-30 cm of storm snow over the facets it skied more like 50-60 cm. The 1st lap was very conservative, while breaking trail it was very easy to pop out small very soft slabs which did not propagate more than 10 m wide. The cold powder and facets slough'd fast. We stepped out a little bit to skiers right on our 2nd lap but was very careful on more open/steeper slopes. A truly amazing day in the hills. Herads up when the winds blow, things will change real quick!

Avalanche Information

Storm snow very touchy over the facets, slumping and wrinkling in lower angle terrain and popping out in 35 deg+. Very manageable but still traveled conservatively
