Japan Trees

South West Gulch area today. The trail up is rough, the japan and beaver pond areas are filling in nicely, it was to windy to get a look at the tablelands. There is 30-50cm of new snow sitting on top of several crust layers. No signs of avalanche activity but visibility was poor. Freshly formed cornices indicated wind loading on east aspects. Riding quality was great in the trees.
