Backyard Traverse

The backyard traverse from Mt. Mac to Golden Horn is always an adventure and today proved it again. Excellent pow stash’s at tree line and below. The alpine had a little bit of everything from 2 feet of facets to knife hard sastrugi and everything in between. Observed a significant avalanche in the coal lake riding area with the potential to bury or injure a rider. Few parties were out and about but pretty quiet considering the amazing sunny weather and decent snow if you were looking for it. Thinking about a taking a Sled AST?
