Gin Peak

Skied fresh powder on N/NW aspects. Skin up was straightforward. Ski out was tight but totally manageable for skilled skiers, watch out for branches and stumps, especially lower down. Many skiers and snowmobilers out. Didn't observe any avalanche activity other than some loose wet on the steepest of solar aspects. Be careful around Hanging Lake as it's not quite fully frozen in some areas. Some people (including myself) accidentally got their skis/skins wet which subsequently froze thus annoyingly necessitating ice removal.

Sunny everywhere in the morning and some clouds moved in mid-afternoon. Ski out was fully cloudy. No wind whatsoever even at Gin Peak.

Slightly heavy powder.
