Other than debris near top of slope, which appeared to slide off steep rock near ridgelines, we saw very little avalanche activity. No whumpfing, no results from quick compression test, and no movement after skiing this area for the morning. At 1600 meters, there is approximately 20 cm of "coastal powder".
