Spent March 28-29 in the area. Lots of groups out and about especially on Saturday. Access is good, decent coverage all the way from the highway with some rocks and stumps to watch out for in the forest.
Saturday we summited Vantage - ridge was wind affected and pretty awful skiing. Cornice are big, specially on last part of the ridge near the summit. We skied the North bowl where snow was wind affected but provided decent skiing. Skies were overcast with light snow from the afternoon into the night. Snow was very wind affected in most terrain traveled.
Sunday we skied sheltered open north facing trees where snow was best and undisturbed. Overcast/snowing all day.
Of note - we noticed avalanche debris from the last rain cycle in areas that we had not seen debris before. Cornices are huge in some lee ridges.
