Alone and afraid on teddy bear trees

We went up to Grizzly couloir. On S asp slopes, riding was good down to 2100m. The snow at treeline was mix of sun crust and wind deposit and below treeline it got softer and more isothermal. Our crux was navigating up avy and tree bombs debris from the last few weeks just above teddy bear trees. The way leading up to the grizzly ridge was wind affected from 2400-2650m. Skin up is tricky, ski crampons were useful. Roar!!
