Pineapple Express Purgatory

Well, to say it nicely, the snowpack has taken some damage from the Pineapple Express. We made a valiant attempt at heading up to Mount Beadnell today, with no success. While we were able to drive up the Eden main about 2 km, from there was a transition to mud/creeks/ice with whoops that bottom out to ground. At the cabin there is around 25 cm of snow on the ground in the deep spots, and the cut blocks are no longer passable. I think we will be looking for a lot of new snow before we head back to try again.
