Red flags continue to be primarily the large amount of avalanche activity and the amount of snow we added to the snowpack in a short period of time. The human triggered avalanches in Smith and Moorehouse area yesterday are evidence that some slopes remain teetering on the edge.

A little better visibility today allowed glimpses of the large natural avalanche cycle. Some slopes appeared to break to the ground, others failed on mid-pack facets, most likely the ones formed at the end of December. Some pictures were tweaked to make the crowns visible.
