A new round of fresh wind drifts were building with a chilly brisk north wind up along the Moffit Peak Ridgeline.

Pretty good traveling around the Moffit Peak zone with supportable snow and the coverage is generally ok, but not a real deep snow pack.

It was pretty chilly walking along the ridge of Moffit Peak with a brisk north wind and the snow surface was a mix of wind scoured and dense powder.

Visiting with some of the dedicated local riders, many are hoping for a better February and March and get some big storms coming in.

A few small pockets of wind slabs still reactive to a person and these were just along the ridgeline where the winds have been busy. The north wind today was moving some snow and building a few minor wind drifts, but I did not find these too be much of a problem.

Not bad conditions out there with a some nice dense powder, loose surface snow in places and the sunny slopes were getting a little damp. The exposed terrain has been pretty worked by the winds this week and today's north wind still hammering away at the higher terrain.
