-
Winds were a little stronger today and there is enough loose snow to blow around and fresh drifts were forming today on the leeward side of slopes.

Keeping track on these rain/rime crusts that formed earlier in the month, and how and if they will be an issue going forward. These are easily found digging down a couple of feet.
The winds have been working over the exposed terrain creating alot of textured snow and less than ideal riding and turning, but good snow is still found in sheltered areas.

-
Stomping around on Double Hill today, I was not able to get any of the freshly drifted snow to crack or move even with moderate southwest winds. These may be more possible to trigger tomorrow and it is always surprising how little wind can find snow to move around.

The snow conditions are still holding up quite nice in places where the winds have not been blowing. Much of the upper terrain has been hammered by recent winds with lots of textured snow.
