Bijoux glades

Skied glades on a south west aspect. Sunny and warm. Ski conditions were breakable crust. Observed snow pack was stacked: Solar crust, 60cm consolidated powder, 5cm old surface hoar and then below that a lot of facets. Consolidated powder seemed to be bridging our weight well above the old hoar. No active instabilities during our day. Lots of snow falling out of the trees but no pinwheeling. Very warm in the sun. Powder in the shade. Snow blowing off alpine peaks.
